The automatic folding support, developed by RMM Metternich Mechatronik GmbH, in conjunction with AUCOS COUP, enables safe and convenient coupling and uncoupling of trailers.
The automatic coupling system AUCOS COUP for truck to trailer was further developed with its proven components for a customer from Hamburg. The system is already being used successfully there, as well as in the USA and Canada. Installation is possible for 2" and 3.5" king pins.

Autonomous terminal tractors begin operational testing at EUROGATE Group Hamburg Following the successful pilot project in Wilhelmshaven, we have launched another pilot project for our Autonomous Tractor Solution (ATS) at the EUROGATE Marine Terminal in Hamburg. The focus: reliable performance in daily terminal operations. The Terberg YT203EV electric terminal tractor, equipped with Embotech’s autonomous driving technology. As part of a pilot project, Eurogate will deploy an autonomous terminal tractor to transport containers between its seaport terminal and the EUROKOMBI rail hub in Hamburg. EUROGATE and Embotech have announced a second pilot project for autonomous terminal tractors (ATTs) at the EUROGATE seaport terminal in Hamburg. The six-month pilot project began in late January and builds on the successful technical feasibility pilot completed at EUROGATE Wilhelmshaven.
